OHST Exam

OHST Exam: Can You Pass It?

The OHST exam is the path to entry-level certification as a safety professional. Unlike the case with many other certifications, a person is not required to have a college degree in order to earn the OHST. Passing the OHST is truly one of the best ways for a health and safety technician to get a raise or a better job and improve his or her resume and career prospects in both the short and long term. This is common knowledge in the industry, and every year a good number of people try to pass the OHST, only to fail. Can you pass the OHST exam?

You might think that you will have no problem passing the test because you do not need a college degree to earn the certification and because the OHST is the lowest, entry-level form of certification. Well, here is a fact you may not be aware of: only about half of the people who take the OHST every year pass it. Yes, as shocking as it might seem, basically every other person fails the test (after paying several hundred dollars in fees). This is not to imply that you cannot pass the exam. You probably can, but odds are that you will need to do a lot of studying and preparation because passing the OHST exam is a lot harder than most people think.

If you are in the process of preparing for the OHST exam, you may want to consider using either a OHST exam study guide or OHST exam flashcards to understand the basic concepts or what will be covered on the OHST exam. OHST exam review and OHST exam are some good online OHST exam resources to use.
